Recycle Mobility Centre (RMC) is the first Scottish non-profit social enterprise (CIC) in the mobility equipment market. We collect used mobility equipment, save them from being dumped, restore them and sell at affordable price to the disabled and elderly people who need the mobility equipment. We are committed to providing you with good customer service.
From our mechanical & electrical workshop located at the Market Village Shopping Centre in Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, we offer:
A range of training programmes to Local unemployed disadvantaged young people
· 12 months Mechanical & Electrical Training Programme covering Engineering at SVQ level 2, PAT Testing, Health & Safety at Work and Customer Service
· 12 weeks Mechanical & Electrical Introductory Training Programme as a pathway to further education and
· 6 months Volunteer Work Placement Programme as a pathway to further volunteer, training or employment.
We are also changing the practice of dumping mobility equipment. The strong message: ‘Don’t dump it, give it to us, even if it’s broken, we’ll fix it and someone else can use it!’ is out there and spreading far and wide.
We have a 3 months guarantee on all our equipment sold. In the event of a fault with the item you can return it to us with the original receipt for an exchange/credit note/refund/repair.
We also have a no quibble return policy.
We would like you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you change your mind about your purchase, return it to us with the original receipt within 14 days and provided it is in fully resalable condition/undamaged we will offer you a replacement/credit note/refund.
You may reserve items by paying a deposit of £10 or 10% of the sale price on more expensive items. The deposit is refundable. The item would be held in store for 5 days and after then would be put up for sale if payment has not been made.
